In Japan, it has long been believed that red goldfish ward off illness and disasters, while black goldfish possess the power to absorb negative energy,  serving as protective talismans.

Additionally, people have traditionally prayed for abundant harvests, the prosperity of descendants, and the healing of diseases through the physical act of "dance," as a form of offering to the gods and Buddha.

This piece portrays goldfish lamenting the turbulent human world and deciding, "Isn't it our turn?" They dance as if blooming, praying to the gods. The work expresses a wish for true peace to come to the vulnerable children and the flora and fauna caught up in the egos of adults.
